Back by popular demand and bigger than ever! After a wildly successful spring weekend at A&H Farm, the Flint Hills Sky Festival is returning to Manhattan, Kansas for another unforgettable two-day celebration in the sky. This event we are adding incredible hot air balloons for morning and evening entrainment you don’t want to miss.
Join us August 29 & 30 as Great American Kites returns to A&H Farm with some of America’s largest and most breathtaking giant kites soaring high above the beautiful Kansas prairie.
This incredible weekend will bring together giant show kites, hot air balloons, farm fun, family activities, food, drinks, and one of the most unique outdoor experiences in the Flint Hills.
And this time, the sky show gets even bigger…

New for FALL we’re welcoming Hot Air Balloons. They will be lighting up about 7pm until 9pm (weather permitting.)

Kite flying and activities are wind and weather dependent. Our team brings a wide variety of giant kites designed for different wind conditions whenever possible.
In the event of rain, severe storms, unsafe flying conditions, or unsuitable balloon weather, demonstrations, launches may be delayed, canceled, or temporarily paused for safety.
